Pump Sentry Battery Backup 1622 PS is the ideal solution and is engineered to dependably handle the power for your primary sump pump during power outages. That means no more worries for you.
HERE'S HOW IT WORKS Pump Sentry interfaces between a pump and the AC electrical supply. The battery backup system charges the battery when electricity is available and monitors the power line to detect a power outage. When a power failure occurs, Pump Sentry draws the energy stored in the battery and converts it to AC power. This AC power is automatically channeled to the pump to maintain its operation in the absence of electricity. When AC utility power is restored, the Pump Sentry reinstates AC utility power as the prime energy source to operate the pump. Simultaneously and automatically, Pump Sentry commences the recharging of the battery to return it to total capacity in preparation for any other power failures. It is designed to operate most 3/4 Hp sump pumps.
Additional Info: It supports full pump capacity but does not occupy sump pit space, it can be wall or surface mounted. Installation is easy, no extra plumbing or wiring is needed to run this silent and clean system. And, the system has a 33A start current capacity, which is 3 seconds.
